A university project where my assignment was to design infographics based on a chosen set of records. In my case, it was an international playlist I created during an exchange semester spent in Italy. The goal was to split the subject into five different categories: location, alphabet, timeline, category and hierarchy.

Throughout the poster, I play around with sizes, space and iconography to convey meaning behind the numbers. The proportions are not accidental. I made sure to carefully calculate them to reflect and visually represent all the relationships between different records.

This process of analysis was surprising and very revealing, and helped me examine my music taste through a different lens. For the first time, I could clearly see the traces of my international friends’ influence, changes in hierarchy shaped by my new relationships, and preferences I’ve been cultivating all my life.
